We believe there is one, true God who is the creator of the heavens and the earth. God is eternally existent in three personalities: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the full deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, bodily ascension into heaven, and that He will return to take those who are His to an eternal heavenly home.
About the Holy Spirit
We believe that Christians are enabled to live a Godly life of service by His indwelling presence.
We believe that salvation cannot be gained by human effort, but only through God’s grace in the redemption He provided in Jesus Christ.
We believe that our response to God’s grace includes; faith: trust & obedience, repentance: turning away from sin and towards God’s will, and baptism: an immersion into Christ and a newness of life (Acts 2:37-38; 2 Peter 3:8-9; John 3:1-7; Romans 6:1-4; 1 Peter 3:18-22).
We believe that it is by God’s power or work that we are given salvation: only He can give forgiveness of sins; clothe us with Christ; add us to the church or body; save us (Acts 22:16; Galatians 3:27; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Mark 16:15-16).
About the Bible
We believe the Bible to be inspired and authoritative. It is the sole authoritative source of information concerning the will of God, and the revelation of Jesus Christ as the Word of God (John 1:1-18).
About the Church
We believe Jesus Christ is the head of His church (Ephesians 1:22-23) and that authority for life and doctrine rests in Him (Hebrews 1:1-14). That God places in His church all who come to faith in Jesus Christ. The church is the body of Christ and is on earth to glorify Him.
We believe in baptism (immersion in water) for the forgiveness of sins, exemplified in the New Testament as burial in water with Christ and resurrection to a new life with Him in the Spirit (Romans 6:3-4).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those that are saved unto the resurrection of life and those that are lost to eternal separation from God.
We believe that our lives should be given in submission to God and service to people.
